Deschide-ti carapacea si lasa-te iubita. Am sa te invalui in caldura uleiului fin de masline, ai sa-mi indulcesti taiosul usturoi, ai sa te cocolosesti in imbratisarea pufoasa a smantanii, am sa te imbogatesc cu branzeturi ce poarta in suflet maturitatea nobila a mucegaiului albastru. Si, ca sa nu complicam naturaletea prieteniei voastre, am sa mai adaug doar cateva fire de traditie cu niscaiva frunze de patrunjel.

Asa se impleteste povestea marii si a pamantului intr-un duet feeric si intrigant.

Cateodata gatitul nu mai e despre facut mancare; e un soi de arta, un soi de preludiu al istoriilor care se scriu in acele clipe, un liant intre inimi, o declaratie, o adictie, o nebunie... o metafora.

Deci, draga scoica, deschide-ti carapacea si lasa-te iubita. Primeste in cochilia ta ofrandele pamantesti si devino o varianta mai buna a ta, fa pace cu tine si savureaza tineretea noii povesti.

Open up your shell and let yourself to be loved. I will embrace you in the warmth of the smooth olive oil, you will sweeten my sharp garlic, you will cuddle in the fluffy embrace of the sour cream, I will enrich you with cheeses that bear in their heart the noble maturity of the blue mold. And, to not complicate the nature of your friendship, I will only add some traditional yarns by spreading flakes off parsley leaves.

This is how the story of the sea and the earth blends into a fiery and intriguing duet.

Sometimes cooking is not about making food anymore; is a kind of art, a sort of prelude to the histories that are written in those moments, a binder between hearts, a statement, an addiction, a madness... a metaphor.

So, dear mussel, open up your shell and be loved. Embrace in your armor the earthly offerings and become a better you, make peace with yourself and enjoy the youth of the new story.
